The Abandoned Submarine took four months to design, with the most time devoted to its iconic hatch door. We wanted it to feel real, mechanical, and alive. After six to seven different prototypes, the final design features a carefully engineered mechanism that produces a subtle clicking sound as the door opens and closes, echoing the feel of a heavy metal hatch deep beneath the sea.

The scene is viewed entirely from inside the submarine, placing you at the heart of the story. Pipes, gears, control panels, and worn metal textures surround you, illuminated by a warm, atmospheric glow that contrasts with the cold, endless sea outside.
The defining feature of this model is its mechanical door. Inspired by the design of a vault or safe, the door opens with a subtle, tactile click–clack sound, created by an internal gear system. Each movement feels deliberate, like unlocking a secret sealed away for decades.
